Sales Policy:
- Nothing well be sold under 8 weeks. I may list a rabbit younger saying that it will be for sale but it will not leave my rabbitry until it is 8 weeks or older. Also, I never will place any rabbits on hold until they have been placed for sale, then I will hold for you (see below holding policy). I may post pictures of my young kits just to share their cuteness but at no time is any one ever allowed to say thats the one they want. Sorry but won't happen.
- We are a closed rabbitry; that being said no one will be allowed to enter the rabbitry when picking up a rabbit. We are making this change due to having some does who do get a little rattled by people coming into the rabbitry and for there own safety I would rather not stress out the rabbits. We will gladly bring our for sale rabbits to any show that we will be attending.
- Rabbits will be listed as either: pet quality, brood quality, and show quality.
- Pet Quality: Pets will not be sold with a pedigree but with a certificate of birth. These are rabbits, I feel, do not meet my standards of breeding quality and show quality. If your intention of buying a pet quality is to breed them please don’t inquire. Pet quality rabbits are just that PETS! Pet prices start at $45.00 and can go up from there. If you have purchased a pet from me before and are inquiring about a rabbit of the opposite sex I will be very hesitant to sell you another rabbit unless you can give a good argument on how you won't be breeding them. Again pet quality rabbits are meant to be pets only.
- Brood Quality: is something that has that has great qualities you would want to breed into your herd but has aspects that can hold them back from being shown. Brood quality rabbits start at $50.00 and can go up from there. Examples: long ears on buck but with the bone and body type we all need or a doe that is long in the body or will be heavier than 4 pounds. If it is labeled as brood that means it is something I would use in my herd.
- Show Quality: are rabbits that have no obvious DQ’s and are rabbis I feel can be placed on a show table without any hesitations. There will be no guarantee for wins but that they can be shown and will not be DQ’ed for any reason. I am trying to breed as close to the stand of perfection as I can get. Show quality rabbits start at $75.00 and can go up from there. However, it is important to note I am too human and may over look things, so it is VERY important that you look over your new bun to make sure I didn't miss any DQ's.
- Inquiry: someone has expressed interested in a rabbit but still feel free to express interest
- Hold: on hold for a potential buyer to decide if they 100% want to purchase, 24 hours is given to decide – once a decision has been made 50% of the amount needs to be put down to hold the rabbit, this is non-refundable.
- Pending: waiting on payment to be received, means they are for sure being bought. If a rabbit is labeled as Pending please do not inquire about pictures or a price as they are for sure leaving, just waiting on payment from the buyer.
- Sold: Payment has been received and/or the rabbit has been picked up
- Payment accepted: Money Order, Paypal (must be done as gift so no fees apply) and cash, no personal checks will be accepted unless the payment is received in advance with enough time to deposit it.
- I will only hold a rabbit for 7 days without payment, after that the rabbit will go back up for sale. Once payment is received I will only hold the rabbit for another 3 weeks (unless other arrangements have been made). After this time period the rabbit will be placed back up for sale and no refund will be made.
- Pick up at a show I am attending is free. I will only deliver a rabbit to a show.
- I do have a 1 week guarantee on all my rabbits, if something is to happen to them during this time period you are to contact me as soon as possible. At this point we will discuss the steps that must be followed.
- I do reserve the right to cancel any sale of a rabbit at any time, no explanation given. But typically I will give one. Rabbits are living, breathing beings!
- The price of a rabbit is subject to change as the rabbit develops however once the rabbit is placed on hold and full payment is received the price will not change.
- I reserve the right to change this sales policy.
